MEET THE TEAM
Wendy - Practice Administrator
After working for over 20 years as a dental and oral surgery assistant, Wendy assumed the role of practice administrator. She studied marketing in college, therefore she brings business savvy and efficiency to her current professional role. She enjoys translating medical terminology for patients, as well as educating them about all of their insurance options for their maximum benefit. Outside the office she can be found chauffeuring her daughter to volleyball, cooking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.
MacKenzie - Patient Care Coordinator
MacKenzie is an honors student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in media communications. She brings impressive customer service experience to our front desk, having worked for Ulta Beauty and an electronic medical records company, prior to her current post. She enjoys offering a personalized experience for patients, managing everyone’s tight schedules and unique needs with aplomb. After hours, if she’s not studying, MacKenzie likes to cook, care for her two rescue cats, and listen to Taylor Swift.
Stephanie - Patient Care Coordinator
Stephanie used to be a dental assistant, but she prefers the front lines of the front desk, where she serves as a source of positivity and organization. A natural caregiver, Stephanie loves to talk to the parents of wisdom teeth patients to help put them at ease. A parent of young adult children herself, she can share her own personal experience, along with an in-depth understanding of oral surgery and dentistry. Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys traveling, photography, kickboxing, and spending time with family and friends, as well as her dog, Toby. She also loves to bake and cook, especially Greek cuisine and the French-Canadian specialties of her childhood.
Jean - Patient Care Coordinator
A certified public accountant, Jean transitioned recently to healthcare to direct her financial expertise toward helping patients navigate health insurance and billing. Fluent in Korean and an active member of her church, in her free time Jean helps translate her pastor’s sermons into English for publication. She also plays the piano and loves listening to classical music and jazz.
Jonathan - Patient Care Coordinator
Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jonathan brings more than 17 years of customer service experience to our front desk. After managing individual stores for the big box retail giants CVS and Walmart, he switched to the medical and dental field, and he hasn’t looked back. Now, instead of managing inventory, his typical day includes welcoming patients with a smile, checking your insurance benefits, uploading medical records, and communicating with our dental colleagues. A hard-working team player, Jonathan aims to foster a personal connection with each and every patient. Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys playing baseball with his twin boys, doing yardwork, and chasing after the family dog.
Heather - Billing Manager
Heather has worked exclusively in oral surgery administration and billing since 2007. She keeps up to date on industry trends and enjoys furthering her education, taking classes in the intricacies of insurance coding every year. Heather views her job as a fun puzzle to solve, to coordinate both medical and dental insurance coverage. She works hard to get the most benefits for our patients. When she’s not answering patient questions or checking claim details, she’s likely cheering at (or traveling to) her teenaged daughter’s club volleyball tournaments. She also enjoys weightlifting and taking her maltipoo, Jersey, to the dog park.
Samantha - Lead Surgical Assistant
After six years of oral surgery front desk experience, including one year at Wellesley Oral Surgery and Implant Center, Samantha trained on the job, with Dr. Memory, to become a surgical assistant. She was promoted in January 2023, after earning dental radiology certification from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine. In 2024, she earned her DAANCE certification (dental anesthesia assistant national certification examination). Samantha’s cross training in both the operatory and the front desk, allows her to appreciate the full scope of the patient experience. Her bubbly personality and calming presence puts patients at ease right away. Outside the office Samantha enjoys reading and disk golfing. She’s also an avid video game streamer.
Ann - Surgical Assistant
Ann starting working as a dental assistant right after high school, and she soon specialized in oral surgery in order to continue to learn about medicine and develop professionally. In 2012, she earned her DAANCE certification (dental anesthesia assistant national certification examination). Several decades into her career, Ann brings wisdom and well-balanced experience to our office every day, along with a calming energy that patients really appreciate. When she’s not working, Ann enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling with her husband, and visiting her two sons who serve in the military.
Gina - Surgical Assistant
Gina studied dental assisting at American Career Institute and received her certificate in 2012. She enjoys the interesting variety of patients and procedures that oral surgery offers, and is certified as a dental anesthesia assistant by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Gina lives in Uxbridge with her blended family of seven, including her young son, as well as cousins and other extended family members.
Jen - Surgical Assistant
Jen had such a good experience going to the dentist as a child, that it was her own childhood hygienist who inspired her to pursue her career in dental assisting. Almost 20 years later, Jen still loves her job, helping oral surgery patients feel comfortable and helping to make a difference in their lives. In 2012 she earned the prestigious DAANCE certification (dental anesthesia assistant national certification examination). Outside the office she enjoys traveling and crafting with her large family.
Maureen - Surgical Assistant
Maureen is a valuable, veteran surgical assistant, bringing 20+ years of experience to the Wellesley Oral Surgery and Implant Center team. Over the years she has seen, firsthand, the evolution of dental implant treatments as well as improvements in bone grafting techniques. Maureen enjoys the hands-on science of her job, but she’s also highly motivated to provide compassionate patient care, making every patient feel special and pampered, as much as possible. In her free time, Maureen enjoys being with family and friends, and she likes to crochet.
Taylor - Surgical Assistant
A Florida transplant to New England, Taylor brings a sunny disposition to Wellesley Oral Surgery and Implant Center. After graduating from Dental Assistant Training School in Fort Myers, she worked for several years in pediatric dentistry and plastic surgery before focusing on oral surgery and moving north. Taylor enjoys the complexity and camaraderie of her job, working alongside surgeons and fellow assistants. She plans to further her education by attending hygiene school part time, at Bristol Community College. In her free time, she likes to work out at the gym, or walk her Australian Shepherd at local parks.
